Man in his 50s suspected of killing wife, child before jumping to his death

Police launched an investigation after three members of a family were found dead at an apartment in Okcheon-gun, North Chungcheong Province.

According to police, a man in his 50s identified as A, his wife, also in her 50s, and their teenage child were found dead at an apartment in Okcheon-eup, Okcheon-gun, at around 9 a.m. Sunday.

When discovered, A was found collapsed in a flower bed in front of the building, while his wife and child were found inside the unit, both bleeding.

Officers responded to a report of a person collapsed in the apartment's flower bed, where they found A. About 10 minutes later, they discovered his wife and child inside the family's home.

Police said there were no signs of forced entry, leading them to suspect that A killed his wife and child before jumping from the building. Investigators are working to determine the exact circumstances of the deaths.
