San, a member of K-pop group Ateez, has denied dating rumors that surfaced while he was in Milan, Italy.

On Saturday, San posted a message on a fan communication platform saying the rumors were "completely untrue" and that he was speaking up because he did not want fans to worry.

"I'm in the middle of my schedule, and somehow people keep following me wherever I go — I'm very flustered," he wrote. "Running into someone by chance is welcome, but this is not that."

He went on to say, "Secretly following someone is not OK. Secretly filming someone is clearly wrong. Let's not commit crimes before getting caught." He added, "Please don't worry at all. I'll finish my schedule and come back safely."

The rumors emerged Saturday after photos and videos showing San walking with a woman on the streets of Milan spread across online communities and social media. San had departed for Milan on Monday to attend Milan Fashion Week.

San has been expanding his presence at global fashion events, including attending the Dolce & Gabbana fall/winter 2026 womenswear show as a brand ambassador during Milan Fashion Week last February.

Ateez is an eight-member group under KQ Entertainment that debuted in 2018. San has been active alongside the group through original soundtrack releases, variety shows and photo shoots.
