Two KBO League games scheduled for Friday, the chuseok holiday, were canceled — the Lotte Giants vs. Doosan Bears and the Samsung Lions vs. SSG Landers.

Both games had been set for 5 p.m., at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul and SSG Landers Field in Incheon. Rain that began falling over the Greater Seoul area in the afternoon left the fields in poor condition, and forecasts called for the rain to continue. KBO game supervisors called off both contests roughly two hours before first pitch.

The canceled games will be rescheduled.
