Kim Min-cheol, head of the Gyeonggi Small Enterprise and Market Service, said the agency will keep identifying concrete joint projects with Gyeonggi Technopark to help small manufacturers sustain their momentum after trade fairs and translate it into real online market entry and sales growth.

The Gyeonggi Small Enterprise and Market Service announced Monday that it has signed a partnership agreement with Gyeonggi Technopark — commonly known as Gyeonggi TP — to help small and micro businesses in Gyeonggi Province break into online markets and sharpen their competitiveness. The agreement is titled the "Joint Cooperation Agreement for Building a Gyeonggi Province Small Business Online Market Entry Partnership."

The initiative draws on the infrastructure and expertise of both organizations to boost sales and expand distribution channels for small and micro businesses across the province. Under the agreement, the two sides plan to cooperate on offline sales support through events such as the Gyeonggi Province Small Manufacturers Fair, help businesses list on Gyeonggi TP's online shopping mall "Gyeonggi Haengbok Shop," and jointly promote their support programs.

As their first joint project, the two organizations will run the second edition of the "Sojang Gachi Exhibition" through the Gyeonggi Haengbok Shop online mall.

The exhibition — a curated online sales event promoting products from outstanding small manufacturers in Gyeonggi Province — was launched last year to expand online distribution channels and raise public awareness of local small-business goods. This year's edition will feature products from 70 companies that participated in the 2026 Gyeonggi Province Small Manufacturers Fair and nine companies that took part in ASD Market Week, a consumer goods trade show held in Las Vegas.

The exhibition will run through the end of this year.

Beyond co-running the exhibition, the two organizations plan to use Gyeonggi TP's online sales training resources to strengthen small and micro businesses' capacity to enter online markets. They also intend to identify follow-up joint projects based on participation data, sales results, and other performance indicators such as traffic and click rates.
