Over 1,500 products on offer through Oct. 26

Hanssem announced Monday it will hold "Ssaem Festa," a discount event on furniture and interior products, starting Sept. 28.

The company will run a pre-event through Sept. 27, followed by the main sale from Sept. 28 through Oct. 26. The event covers more than 1,500 products — including furniture, interior goods and lifestyle items — with discounts of up to 85 percent.

Ahead of the main event, Hanssem is also holding a pre-registration promotion. Customers who log in to Hanssem Mall and sign up for advance notifications can receive discount coupons worth up to 45,000 won ($33), depending on the purchase amount and product.

Coupons are tiered by spending: 5,000 won for purchases of 100,000 won or more, 15,000 won for purchases of 300,000 won or more, and 25,000 won for purchases of 600,000 won or more. Select products such as sofas and dining tables are eligible for an additional discount of up to 45,000 won.

Pre-registration closes at 9:59 a.m. on Sept. 28. Coupons will be issued Sept. 29 and remain valid through Oct. 26, when the main event ends. Among customers who share the event information with at least three acquaintances, 1,000 will be selected by lottery to receive 5,000 Hanssem Mall points each.

The pre-event will also run at physical stores, not just online. Customers who book a consultation at a Rehaus store through Hanssem Mall and visit during the main event period will receive a gift. From Thursday through Sunday, participating offline stores will also hold an "early bird" promotion offering select benefits ahead of the main event.

Meanwhile, Ssaem Festa is a biannual sale Hanssem holds in the first and second halves of each year. This year's first-half edition ran from March 3 to March 30 at Hanssem stores nationwide and on Hanssem Mall online, also featuring discounts of up to 85 percent on about 1,500 furniture, interior and lifestyle products.
