Hawaii is rolling out aggressive promotions during its October dining festival, offering travelers a high-value culinary getaway.
Outrigger Resorts, located in the heart of Waikiki, has assembled a range of value-driven dining packages to coincide with the inaugural Flavors of Waikīkī Restaurant Week, running Oct. 1 through Oct. 11.
Korean travelers can take advantage of an especially generous promotion that waives the daily resort fee and provides a $50 dining credit each day of their stay.
Fourteen restaurants at Waikiki Beach Walk and Outrigger-affiliated hotels are participating in the restaurant week, offering prix-fixe menus and limited-time dishes ranging from casual local Hawaiian fare and chef's signature tasting courses to steaks and seafood.
Taormina Sicilian Cuisine at Waikiki Beach Walk will present a Sicilian tasting menu featuring pasta, beef dishes and tiramisu. At Kani Ka Pila Grille inside Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, guests can enjoy a five-course dinner showcasing Hawaiian flavors — ahi, island fish and beef — with live Hawaiian music performed every evening, blending dining and performance in one setting.
Monkeypod Kitchen, the ocean-view restaurant at the same resort, will serve crab cake Benedict made with local Hawaiian ingredients alongside signature cocktails.
At Maui Brewing Co. inside Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel, guests can pair mochiko chicken with Hawaiian craft beer.
Additional options include a three-course dinner at Roy's Waikīkī, a filet and lobster prix-fixe at Ruth's Chris Steak House, and a prime rib buffet at Duke's Waikīkī, among other menus to suit a range of tastes.
During the restaurant week, Korean travelers can also combine the benefits with Outrigger's ongoing "Waikiki EXPERIENCE" promotion. Booking through the official Outrigger website under that promotion waives the daily resort fee and provides a $50 daily dining credit usable at participating restaurant week venues. The credit is issued every day of the stay, helping offset the typically high cost of food and beverages in Hawaii while allowing guests to explore a wide range of dining options.
