A package tour covering the distinctive landscapes of South Korea's southern coast — including the exotic seascapes of Namhae, Sacheon's celebrated sunset views and the ancient natural scenery of Goseong — has been launched.

Regional air mobility carrier Seom Air developed the travel package, dubbed "Travel the South Coast with Seom Air," in partnership with the South Gyeongsang Province Tourism Foundation and local travel cooperative Hadong Nollua Cooperative.

Seom Air has been operating four round trips daily on the Gimpo-Sacheon route connecting Greater Seoul and South Gyeongsang Province since March, and launched the tourism product as part of its efforts to boost regional travel.

The itinerary takes travelers to sites that capture the character of the South Coast, including the Sacheon Sea Cable Car, Namhae's Daraengi Village and traditional bamboo fish traps, and Goseong's Seongjokam.

The two-night, three-day trip runs Oct. 9-11, with a participation fee of 250,000 won ($183) per person. About 50 percent of the full price is refunded as a travel subsidy through the South Gyeongsang Province Tourism Foundation. Round-trip Seom Air tickets included in the package are also offered at a discount to mark the product launch.

Reservations open Friday on the Hadong Nollua Cooperative's Naver page and are available on a first-come, first-served basis, limited to 25 participants aged 20 and older.

"Travelers from the greater Seoul area will be able to fully enjoy the appeal of South Coast destinations through air travel that is faster than buses or KTX," a Seom Air official said. "We will continue to develop a variety of programs that contribute to regional tourism as a regional air mobility service connecting communities across the country."
