The Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (YGPA) said it will keep 24 facilities at the 2012 Yeosu World Expo site fully operational throughout the four-day chuseok holiday beginning Sept. 24, including directly managed, commercial, exhibition and public facilities.

During the holiday, YGPA will offer traditional games — including yutnori, tuho and jegichagi — open to all visitors along the Expo Digital Gallery (EDG) corridor. On the first floor of the International Pavilion, visitors can join craft-making workshops led by local artisans and purchase products from regional social economy enterprises.

YGPA also plans to maintain emergency staffing in cooperation with its subsidiary Yeosu Expo Management Co. and conduct regular on-site patrols to prevent and prepare for safety incidents.

The Yeosu World Expo site, which serves as a secondary venue for the 2026 Yeosu World Island Expo, will operate a temporary parking lot and shuttle bus stop behind the Sky Tower to improve access to the main venue in Jinmo District, Dolsan-eup, Yeosu. A ferry service connecting Expo Port to Udu Port will also be in operation.
