Charity festival at Seoul Land in Gwacheon on Saturday
Community Chest of Korea confirmed for third consecutive year
A festival combining live music with everyday giving will be held this weekend, inviting citizens to enjoy performances while taking part in a culture of sharing.
The Community Chest of Korea announced Thursday that it will participate in the 2026 Woori MomoCon, a social contribution concert organized by Woori Financial Group, to be held Saturday at Seoul Land in Gwacheon.
The Community Chest of Korea has taken part in Woori MomoCon for three consecutive years since 2024, using the event to share the meaning of giving with the public and promote a culture of everyday charity. Now in its fourth edition, the festival runs under the slogan "The more we gather, the greater the good" and brings together music and philanthropy in an interactive social contribution format. Artists including YB, QWER, Jannabi and Jinusean are set to perform, and around eight NGOs — including the Community Chest of Korea — will offer visitors a range of hands-on giving programs.
At this year's event, the Community Chest of Korea will operate an interactive booth highlighting key social contribution projects it has carried out with Woori Financial Group. Visitors can browse the social contribution activities of all 17 Woori Financial Group affiliates on a touchscreen, then take part in a hands-on experience at a central structure called "With Woori," where they connect threads to a display. The installation is designed to represent the ongoing impact created together by Woori Financial Group and the Community Chest of Korea. As more visitors participate, the Korean word for "we" ("우리") grows more vivid on the structure, symbolizing the connection of hearts.
Meanwhile, Woori Financial Group has donated a cumulative 79 billion won ($58.4 million) to the Community Chest of Korea since 2009, supporting local communities and vulnerable groups.
