Expert lectures on culture, health and humanities held every third Thursday of the month

Ulsan city will launch its second-half 2026 Citizen Academy, a lifelong learning series featuring expert lectures on culture, health and the humanities, beginning Thursday at 2 p.m. in the main auditorium on the second floor of Ulsan City Hall. Sessions will continue on the third Thursday of each month through the end of the year.

The lineup covers four lectures: musical actor Hong Ji-min presents "A Dream and Music Journey with Hong Ji-min" on Thursday; physician Ham Ik-byeong speaks on "Stories of Skin and Health" on Oct. 15; broadcaster Lee Ho-seon discusses "Four Technologies for Living as a Wonderful Adult" on Nov. 19; and criminologist Pyo Chang-won addresses "Modern Society and Criminal Psychology" on Dec. 17.

A city official said the Citizen Academy is an open lecture series where any resident can learn and connect, adding that the expert-led sessions will offer residents a valuable opportunity to gain practical knowledge.
