Double activity currency, '1+1' Future Jobs Hall benefit offered

Korea JobWorld, a comprehensive career experience center under the Ministry of Employment and Labor, has surpassed 10 million cumulative visitors 14 years after opening.

Korea JobWorld announced Tuesday that it will hold a commemorative event themed "10 Million Dreams, a JobWorld We Built Together" from Sept. 19 through Oct. 10 to mark the milestone.

Korea JobWorld opened in 2012 to help children and teenagers explore career paths and develop a sense of professional values. The facility operates hands-on experience rooms that recreate real workplace environments, where visitors can take on various occupational roles and explore emerging jobs of the future.

During the event period, the Children's Experience Hall will distribute double the usual amount of "Joy," the in-house currency used for activities. The Future Jobs Hall will offer a "1+1" benefit on Saturdays and public holidays, allowing visitors to participate in an additional session at no extra charge.

On the opening day, Sept. 19, a live event will be held in the central lobby on the first floor. Raffle tickets will be distributed starting at noon, and cotton candy will be given out to the first 500 visitors from 12:30 p.m. A balloon magic show will run for about 40 minutes starting at 1 p.m.

After the performance, children's health supplements and other prizes will be awarded through a raffle. Visitors who use the experience halls during the event period will also receive a small commemorative gift. Reservation details and the full schedule are available on the Korea JobWorld website.
