Visitors can try food, lifestyle, beauty and fashion private-label products in person
Coupang Inc's private-label subsidiary CPLB will hold "Coupang Only Festa" in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul from Thursday through Sunday. It is the company's first offline event since its founding in 2020.
Coupang extended the registration period through Wednesday — the day before the event opens — after advance reservations exceeded 6,300.
The pop-up will occupy the first and second floors and outdoor space of Anderson C in Seongsu-dong. More than 120 small and medium-sized manufacturers that produce products under Coupang's private-label brands — including Gomgom, Comet, Tamsa and Zoom — will take part. Visitors can browse a wide range of products spanning fresh food, rice and grains, ready-to-eat meals, detergents, snacks and beverages, kitchen and household goods, fashion and beauty items, stationery and household paper products. In addition to private-label goods, more than 100 products developed under the manufacturers' own brands will also be on display.
A variety of hands-on activities will be available. These include a rice and grain tasting experience, a flavor-preference test, a detergent and fabric-softener refill station, and free samples of household items such as wallpaper and draft excluders. A "sensory challenge" — where participants guess the weight of toilet paper, wet wipes and similar items they pack themselves — and a capsule-toy coin event will also be on offer.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, a pop-up restaurant called Gomgom Sikdang will serve dishes made with Coupang's food private-label products, including steak, spicy chicken feet, mandu, salad and char-broiled tteokbokki.
"We hope customers can taste and experience our diverse Coupang private-label products all in one place, and see the quality and variety for themselves," said Jeon Gyeong-su, chief executive of Coupang CPLB. "We will continue working to grow together with small and medium-sized enterprises."
