One man in his 20s critically injured among four taken to hospital
A drunk driver struck pedestrians in front of a club in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, injuring four people.
Police said Sunday that the Gangnam Police Station has arrested a woman in her 30s, identified only by the surname initial A, on charges of dangerous driving causing injury under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes and drunk driving under the Road Traffic Act.
A is accused of driving an SUV while intoxicated around 11 p.m. Saturday, striking a curb in front of a club in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, before hitting pedestrians on the road.
Four pedestrians were injured in the crash and taken to hospital, including one man in his 20s who suffered serious injuries.
A's blood alcohol level at the time of the crash was at the license suspension threshold.
Police are investigating the exact circumstances of the crash.
