Chuseok gift pavilion to showcase local companies' products

Paju city will host the 2026 Paju Corporate Expo for three days, Sept. 18-20, at Imjingak Plaza.

Now in its third year, the expo aims to introduce local companies' quality products and technology to residents while providing opportunities for market expansion and business networking.

This year's event will focus on expanding practical sales channels for participating companies and strengthening content for citizen engagement. Companies from various sectors based in the city will take part, showcasing their products and technologies, and visitors will be able to see, try and purchase items in person.

Ahead of "chuseok," the Korean harvest holiday, the city will launch a new chuseok gift pavilion gathering gift-oriented products from local companies. The pavilion is designed to introduce residents to a variety of local company products while giving participating businesses a new opportunity to expand their sales channels around the holiday season.

The expo will also feature interactive content, including AI robot experiences and a game zone, turning the event into a festival that families can enjoy together.

Alongside this, organizations that support businesses — including the Gyeonggi Provincial Economic and Scientific Promotion Agency, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and Gyeonggi Technopark — will also take part. They will listen to companies' management concerns and offer on-site consultations on various support projects. Participating companies are expected to receive tailored, practical information through these sessions.

"I hope this expo will give residents a chance to discover outstanding companies and products in Paju, and give companies a genuine opportunity to explore new markets and meet new customers," said Paju Mayor Son Bae-chan. "We will do our best to prepare the event so that companies and residents can enjoy it together and create new exchanges and opportunities."
