The IFEZ Triathlon will be held this weekend in Cheongna, Incheon.
The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority will host the 2026 IFEZ Triathlon and accompanying events on Saturday and Sunday around Cheongna Lake Park and the broader Cheongna International City area.
On the first day, Saturday, Cheongna Lake Park will host a hands-on festival for families.
Starting at 10 a.m., the RC Mobility Championship will feature RC car racing, exhibitions and heavy-equipment RC demonstrations. A K-pop dance festival featuring youth from the Incheon area will follow at 5 p.m.
The main event, the IFEZ Cheongna Triathlon, will take place Sunday morning. About 500 amateur athletes and competitors from across the country will take on an Olympic-distance course consisting of a 1.5-kilometer swim, a 40-kilometer cycling leg and a 10-kilometer run.
The swimming and running legs will be held at Cheongna Lake Park, while the cycling leg will follow an urban course circling the roads around the lake park.
On the day of the competition, Sunday, from 7 to 11 a.m., some roads around Cheongna Lake Park will be closed or rerouted to traffic to accommodate the triathlon. Bus routes will be adjusted accordingly.
Pedestrian access and use of facilities along the competition course inside the park will also be temporarily restricted.
