Trinity Airways launches first flights on Daegu-Jeju, Incheon-Narita routes Thursday
Website, mobile app complete brand transition
Trinity Airways said Thursday it has begun full-scale operations under its new name, Trinity Airways.
That day, the airline launched its first flights under the Trinity Airways name both domestically and internationally. It started with flight TW801 from Daegu to Jeju at 6:10 a.m. and flight TW237 from Incheon to Narita at 6:55 a.m.
In addition, an aircraft (HL8754) recently introduced bearing the airline's new corporate identity for the first time flew as flight TW705 on the Gimpo-Jeju route. Trinity Airways plans to continue rolling out the new corporate identity across its entire current fleet as well as future aircraft additions.
On all domestic and international flights Thursday, pilots, cabin crew and airport check-in staff wore new uniforms as they greeted passengers. This showcased Trinity Airways' new brand identity across multiple customer touchpoints.
The airline also completed the brand transition across key customer touchpoints, including its website, mobile app and airport counters. To keep airport use smooth and convenient, it kept its existing check-in terminals and counter locations unchanged.
Trinity Airways also used the rebranding as an opportunity to comprehensively review its safety management systems and operational procedures across flight operations, maintenance and cabin services.
The airline plans to keep introducing next-generation aircraft, including the A330-900neo widebody and the B737-8, before the end of the year. It aims to strengthen its position as a leading carrier offering differentiated service and competitive mid- to long-haul routes.
"The first flight bearing our new corporate identity marks a meaningful new beginning for Trinity Airways alongside the Sono Trinity Group," a Trinity Airways official said. "We will continue applying the new livery to our entire fleet and do our best to deliver a differentiated flying experience based on our Selective Service Carrier, or SSC, strategy," the official added.
Meanwhile, Trinity Airways also revamped its in-flight meal service to coincide with the introduction of its new name. The company said the overhaul is part of its efforts to strengthen customer service under the SSC business model that Trinity Airways, part of the Sono Trinity Group, recently unveiled.
Rather than offering the same service to every customer, the SSC model selectively strengthens the services customers need depending on the characteristics of each route and the purpose of travel.
