CEO Kim Jeong-hwan: 'We will continue our social contribution efforts'

Paju City held an induction ceremony on Tuesday for Hyeongwon ENG, led by CEO Kim Jeong-hwan, as the company joined the "Nanum Myeongmun Enterprise" program. The program, a high-donation recognition initiative run by the Community Chest of Korea, made Hyeongwon ENG Paju's ninth member company.

The ceremony, hosted by the Gyeonggi Province chapter of the Community Chest of Korea, brought together Paju Mayor Son Bae-chan, Kim and officials from the organization. They celebrated the company's induction and discussed the significance of expanding a culture of giving in the local community.

The Nanum Myeongmun Enterprise program is a high-donation initiative operated by the Community Chest of Korea to encourage corporate social contribution and foster a more mature culture of giving. It draws participation from companies committed to shared growth and community support.

With its induction, Hyeongwon ENG officially joined Paju's roster of Nanum Myeongmun Enterprise members. The company plans to support underprivileged residents while taking a leading role in corporate social responsibility.

The Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea presented Hyeongwon ENG with a commemorative plaque, and together with Paju City expressed gratitude for the company's meaningful commitment to giving.

"I believe a company's growth carries greater meaning when it grows together with the community," Kim said. "With this induction into the Nanum Myeongmun Enterprise program as a turning point, we will continue our social contribution activities so that we can be a source of strength for underprivileged neighbors in the region."

"I am deeply grateful to Hyeongwon ENG for joining in this effort to give back to the community, and I sincerely congratulate them on becoming Paju's ninth Nanum Myeongmun Enterprise," Son said. "I hope this company's warm generosity spreads throughout the community and becomes a positive influence that inspires further acts of giving."

He added, "Paju City will also continue to cooperate with the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea to ensure that companies' valuable donations reach neighbors in need, and we will work to further spread a culture of giving shared by businesses and citizens alike."
