Singer Soyou has shared a bizarre experience in which a complete stranger slapped her on the bottom at a bathhouse.

On Monday, Soyou posted a video on her YouTube channel showing herself spending a summer vacation at a jjimjilbang, or Korean sauna, with her production crew.

During the outing, a crew member asked Soyou whether anyone had ever recognized her at a jjimjilbang or bathhouse.

"People recognize me a lot," she said. When the crew member followed up by asking what she does when someone says, "Isn't that Soyou?", she laughed and replied, "I cover my body with my hands as much as possible."

Her manager then brought up a past incident, asking, "Didn't someone — an elderly woman, I think — once slap you on the bottom and walk away?"

Soyou confirmed the story. "I was washing up somewhere like a golf club, and someone recognized me and went, 'Oh, it is Soyou,' then suddenly gave me a slap on the bottom and walked off," she said.

She added that it had hurt, and re-enacted the flustered expression she had made at the time while looking at the person — drawing laughter from those around her.
