Volunteers clean kennels, walk and play with dogs awaiting adoption

Air Premia said Tuesday that leaders of its employee volunteer group Angel Premia and cabin crew volunteers visited Bring Me Home, a medium-to-large dog adoption center in Ilsan Dong-gu, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on Monday to clean kennels, tidy the surrounding grounds, and walk and play with stray dogs awaiting adoption.

The volunteers cleaned the kennels and tidied the area around the center, then spent time bonding with the dogs by taking them for walks and playing with them.

The activity was organized to help stray dogs live in a more comfortable environment and to show care and warmth to those waiting to be adopted.

Air Premia has been visiting stray dog shelters for volunteer work since August last year, and Monday's outing marked the sixth such visit.

"It was meaningful to be able to help the dogs live in even a slightly more comfortable environment," an Air Premia official said. "Going forward, we will continue to reach out to those in need through a variety of volunteer activities that our employees can take part in together."

Air Premia has been carrying out corporate social responsibility activities across a range of fields through Angel Premia, with employees taking direct part in plogging campaigns, visits to childcare facilities, centers for people with disabilities, and rehabilitation centers, among others.

In June, about 30 people — including newly recruited cabin crew trainees and their sunbae crew members from Angel Premia — joined a walking volunteer activity with elderly visitors from a day-care rehabilitation center at Banghwa Neighborhood Park in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
