Program to support students' understanding of future mobility and career exploration

Hyundai Motor's youth mobility education program, the Future Mobility School, will be introduced at schools in France — its first deployment in Europe.

Hyundai Motor announced Tuesday that it signed a France Future Mobility School cooperation agreement with the Korean Education Center in France at the South Korean Embassy in Paris on Monday (local time). The signing ceremony was attended by Jeong Sang-myeong, director of the Korean Education Center in France, which operates under the embassy, Sung Kim, president of strategic planning at Hyundai Motor Group, and other key figures from the education sector and the company.

The Future Mobility School is a global education program Hyundai Motor developed to help young people understand future mobility technologies and industry shifts through hands-on learning. As of the end of 2025, more than 2,700 schools worldwide had adopted the program, with approximately 110,000 students completing it.

Since 2016, Hyundai Motor has partnered with the Ministry of Education to offer career-exploration programs for elementary and middle school students covering future technologies such as electrification, hydrogen and autonomous driving, as well as environmental change. The program combines classroom instruction using proprietary teaching materials with practical, hands-on activities designed to make the mobility industry accessible and to help students explore related careers.

Starting in 2023, Hyundai Motor expanded the program to ASEAN countries — including Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia and Laos — in partnership with the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding.

The agreement marks the Future Mobility School's first entry into Europe. Hyundai Motor plans to work with the Korean Education Center in France to develop a tailored operating framework that reflects local educational conditions and student needs.

Notably, the French rollout will be the first time Korean-language teaching materials are used at an overseas school under the program. Hyundai Motor aims to link future mobility education with Korean language learning, reflecting growing interest in Korean language and culture in France and rising demand for related education.

"This agreement is a meaningful starting point for the Future Mobility School's debut in Europe," a Hyundai Motor official said. "We hope it will serve as a valuable opportunity for young people in France to deepen their understanding of future technologies and industries, as we mark the 140th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and France."

Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor has been actively investing in technical talent development to strengthen the automotive industry's competitiveness, including launching the Hyundai-KOICA NextGen automotive maintenance training program at the Alisa Hotel in Accra, Ghana.
