HS Hwaseong announced Monday that its pet-friendly residential product "FIT WITH PET" has been selected for Good Design Korea 2026.

Good Design Korea is the country's most prestigious design award, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and administered by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion. Running annually since 1985, the program evaluates excellence and innovation in design across a range of fields, including products, visual communication and the built environment.

With this latest recognition, HS Hwaseong has accumulated 28 Good Design Korea awards since 2008, consistently demonstrating its design competitiveness over 16 years.

"FIT WITH PET" is a pet-friendly total solution applied at Park Dream Diare near Beomeo Station, and forms part of HS Hwaseong's premium residential solution line, the FIT Package. The FIT Package integrates interior design, kitchen, bathroom, storage, lighting and customized planning to reflect each customer's lifestyle and preferences.

"FIT WITH PET" tailors that approach to households with companion animals. It brings together design and functional features — spanning individual units and shared complex spaces — that address the safety, hygiene and convenience of both pets and their owners, in line with evolving residential trends.

Inside individual units, the product incorporates a dedicated pet wash basin, scratch- and impact-resistant finishing materials, stone flooring and stone-board wall panels with slip resistance and shock absorption, and a safety inner door for secure entry and exit.

Within the complex, an idle space beneath the piloti structure has been converted into a pet playground, while leash hooks installed in the below-ground parking garage allow residents to safely manage their pets when getting in and out of vehicles.

Elevators are equipped with a "pet button" that signals whether a pet is on board, completing an integrated solution that covers every aspect of daily life for pets and their owners — from inside the home to movement throughout the complex.

"FIT WITH PET goes beyond creating a separate space for pets — it is a product that embeds the way people and animals live together into the residential space itself," said Park Jin-pil, head of HS Hwaseong's product development team. "We will continue developing differentiated residential products that reflect changing lifestyles and customer needs."
