Renault Korea announced Tuesday that it has introduced an industry-leading free warranty extension service starting this month to improve after-sales customer satisfaction and strengthen service quality.

Beginning in September, buyers of the Filante and the 2027 Grand Koleos will be eligible for a "7-year, 140,000 km" free warranty extension that significantly expands coverage beyond the standard warranty period.

The program extends the existing new-vehicle warranty — which covers body and general components for three years or 60,000 km, and major engine and powertrain components for five years or 100,000 km — to a maximum of seven years or 140,000 km, giving owners greater peace of mind throughout the ownership period.

To qualify, customers must visit an authorized Renault Korea service center once a year (within 365 days) and complete a complimentary 12-item inspection along with a paid engine oil change.

In addition, Renault Korea has launched a fall season special maintenance promotion to help customers drive safely and comfortably. Through Oct. 31, customers who replace their premium engine oil will receive discounts of up to 20 percent — 20 percent off when replacing both the premium engine oil and a premium filter at the same time, and 10 percent off for a premium engine oil change alone.

The automaker is also running a range of promotions to ease vehicle maintenance costs: 20 percent off three Filante-exclusive accessories (side steps, trunk entry guard and door spot lamp), 20 percent off Grand Koleos tires, and repair cost support for accident-damaged vehicles.

Meanwhile, Renault Korea has been broadening its customer brand touchpoints through various marketing activities, including setting up a large corporate booth at NextRise 2026 — Asia's largest technology and startup event — held at COEX in Seoul in June, where it unveiled its future mobility innovation strategy.
