A final video letter recorded by the late author Jeon Gyeong-cheol before his death has been made public.

Publisher Iyagi Jangsu posted the video Monday on its official account, accompanied by the message: "We are on our way to bid farewell to author Jeon Gyeong-cheol."

"We never imagined we would be releasing this video message after his passing," the publisher said, "but on Monday, we share with the many who are mourning his death this video letter, which he filmed himself at home after rising from his sickbed."

The publisher then asked readers to remember Jeon for devoting every last ounce of his strength to founding the Peter Pan Foundation and building Neverland Village. "Even after Monday, we will continue to ask for your support and attention for the Peter Pan Foundation and the legacy he left behind," it said.

It also urged supporters: "Please do not forget how you feel right now, and stay with us for as long as possible in realizing the author's hope and dream — the Peter Pan Foundation and the building of Neverland Village."

The publisher closed with a message of condolence: "We offer our deepest condolences on the passing of the late author Jeon Gyeong-cheol."

In the video, Jeon introduced himself as someone who had come to be known as "Peter Pan's dad."

He described the time he had left as "the last journey of my life" and expressed his wish to establish Neverland Village — a community where people with severe developmental disabilities could live with dignity — and to found the Peter Pan Foundation to make that vision a reality.

"So many people are walking this road together," he said, urging those watching to lend their strength to the cause — words that left many deeply moved.

Jeon died Saturday at 7:56 p.m. In keeping with his wishes, no public funeral hall was set up.
