Gyeongbuk Health College hosted the "2026 Foreign Residents' Harmony Festival" on Wednesday at the school's small athletic field in Gimcheon, North Gyeongsang Province, bringing together foreign residents, international students and local community members.

The event opened with a host-led recreation segment, followed by performances by artists Cheondo, Taebi, Blue Hwa and Runeate, as well as the Y507 band.

Particularly popular were on-the-spot singing and talent contests, open to walk-up registrations, where participants freely showcased their skills in singing, dancing and playing instruments.

The audience responded with enthusiastic applause and cheers, turning the event into a celebration of unity that crossed national and generational lines.

Throughout the venue, attendees could take part in a capsule treasure hunt to win prizes, as well as enjoy four-cut photo booths and a 360-degree rotating photo booth.

Organizers also set up bean bag chairs, picnic mats, tiered seating and outdoor tables so attendees could watch the performances comfortably, while food trucks added to the festive atmosphere.

"I hope this festival served as a meaningful opportunity for foreign residents, international students and local community members to understand one another and grow closer," said Gyeongbuk Health College President Lee Eun-jik.
