Suseong-gu in Daegu will host the 20th Suseong Health Festival at the west plaza of Daegu Stadium on Sept. 12, the district announced Thursday.

Held under the theme "Health is not a choice, but a habit," the festival will bring together local medical institutions and related organizations to offer health screenings and consultations.

Visitors can receive blood pressure and blood sugar checks, body composition analysis, shoulder ultrasounds, bone density tests and traditional Korean medicine examinations, along with personalized consultations from medical staff.

Themed experience booths will cover walking, oral health, smoking cessation and nutrition, and a certified walking instructor will lead a proper walking technique session.

Suseong-gu District Mayor Kim Dae-kwon said he hoped residents would "gain accurate health information at this festival and create healthy memories with their families."
