The Advanced Industry Bootcamp Project Group at Gyeongil University signed an MOU with the Gyeongsan Employment Support Center of the Gyeongsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Friday, pledging to foster talent in advanced industries and strengthen industry-academia cooperation.

About 10 officials from both organizations attended the signing ceremony, held at the Gyeongsan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Under the agreement, the two institutions will share information on local companies' workforce needs and connect university education with industry to develop job-ready graduates. They also agreed to expand corporate participation in the bootcamp program and broaden employment and recruitment pathways for students.

The partnership is particularly aimed at identifying outstanding local companies and expanding their opportunities to engage in education programs, laying the groundwork for sustained exchange between businesses and the university.

"We will actively work to identify excellent companies, expand their participation, and ensure that education and employment are closely linked," said Kim Hae-su, head of the Advanced Industry Bootcamp Project Group.
