'Berex Festa' runs through Oct. 27, with up to 15 months at 10,000 won a month depending on contract

New products including R-series motion beds, M-series massage mattresses also eligible

Berex sales reached 719.9 billion won last year; domestic rental net additions hit 242,000 units in Q2

Coway will cut monthly rental fees for all Berex products — including beds and massage chairs — to 10,000 won ($7) for up to 15 months, targeting new customers ahead of the autumn moving and wedding season.

The company announced Monday that it will run a "Berex Festa" promotion for two months through Oct. 27. The offer covers all Berex-branded items, including mattresses, bed frames, massage chairs and medical devices. Customers who sign a new rental contract during the promotion period will pay as little as 10,000 won a month for up to 15 months, depending on the length of their contract.

The promotion also covers sleep-tech products launched this year, including the R-series stretching motion bed, the M-series massage mattress bed and the Smart Mattress. Coway has been expanding the Berex lineup this year with a series of beds that combine stretching, massage and sleep-analysis functions.

Berex is a sleep and healing care brand Coway launched in December 2022. The brand posted combined domestic and overseas sales of 719.9 billion won last year. Domestic bed sales reached 365.4 billion won, up 15.4 percent from the previous year. New Berex bed sales in the first quarter of this year also rose more than 30 percent year on year.

Coway's domestic rental sales have continued to grow. Net new domestic rental accounts in the second quarter reached 242,000 units, up 51.6 percent from a year earlier. Domestic business sales in the same period came to 786.8 billion won, a 7.7 percent increase. The company said growth in sales of its ice water purifiers and Berex beds and massage chairs drove the earnings improvement.

Coway is also running discounts on its home appliance lineup. Customers who sign new rental contracts on Coway.com for select products — including the Icon Ice Water Purifier Mini, Icon Water Purifier 3, Lulu The Manner bidet, Zero food waste disposer and S induction cooktop — will receive a 50 percent discount on rental fees for up to 18 months.

Customers who order recommended Berex products on Coway.com will receive a V&A Beauty Antioxidant Ampoule and Cream Set. Among customers who purchase home appliances, 300 will be selected by lottery to receive a Corelle cast-iron pot. The first 1,000 customers to complete a Berex product preference survey will receive a 3,000-won GS25 mobile gift voucher.
