Dong-A Ecopack, a subsidiary of Dong-A Socio Group, said Thursday it donated 400 bottles of water to the Dangjin City Welfare Foundation in South Chungcheong Province to support cultural activities for underprivileged children and teenagers in the area.

The donation was intended to help vulnerable young participants stay comfortable and safe during cultural programs held in the summer heat.

The bottled water will be distributed during cultural activity programs for underprivileged children and teenagers in the city, ensuring they stay adequately hydrated and can take part in good health.

Dong-A Ecopack produces packaging materials, bottled water and beverages, drawing on its expertise in packaging and the food and beverage sector. The company has continued to expand its corporate social responsibility efforts alongside the local community.

The company builds its annual donation fund through voluntary payroll deductions by employees, consistently channeling the proceeds into support for underprivileged children and teenagers.

"We prepared the water hoping the children would enjoy their cultural activities in good health despite the summer heat," a company official said. "We will keep finding practical ways to give back to the local community."
