Seom Air's Gimpo-Sacheon route connects communities
Regional air mobility role to be expanded
Employees of regional air mobility carrier Seom Air carried out a "regional community program" Tuesday, cleaning up beaches in Namhae-gun, South Gyeongsang Province, and exploring local culture.
Sponsored by the Namhae Tourism and Culture Foundation, the program had staff fly to Namhae on Seom Air flights for a day trip combining beach cleanup activities and visits to local tourist sites, with the aim of identifying ways to develop region-based services.
The employees collected plastic, styrofoam, discarded fishing gear and household waste along the Daraengi Jigetgil, the 11th course of the Namhae Barae-gil, a trail network known for its scenic coastal walks. They then visited the German Village to explore aviation service concepts reflecting the area's distinctive local character.
"Through this program, our employees experienced Namhae firsthand and felt a closer connection to the region," a Seom Air official said. "We will continue to strengthen our role as a regional air mobility carrier that links communities together."
