RESCENE member Minami accidentally deactivated fellow member Wonyi's account on the fan communication platform Pluscht, leaving the group scrambling to sort out the mess.

Wonyi's account on Pluscht — the platform RESCENE uses to share photos, posts and messages with fans — was abruptly deactivated Wednesday. Pluscht is a service where artists post content and communicate directly with fans.

Minami explained on Pluscht that she had switched phones and re-downloaded the app, only to accidentally sign up using Wonyi's account. "I tried to log out, but it was connected to other apps," she said. "No matter how many times I logged out, it kept logging back in automatically, so I pressed deactivate."

Fellow member Lib also explained what happened. "Wonyi's account was linked to Minami's spare phone," she said, adding that Minami appeared to have pressed deactivate instead of log out.

Wonyi, after creating a new account, took it in stride. "It looks like Minami didn't know and hit the deactivate button on Pluscht," she said. "I guess this is how you know she's Japanese."

She added: "It's a bit of an emergency. Since recovery isn't possible, they've contacted Pluscht."

The platform's operators were reportedly caught off guard as well. During a live broadcast, the members said Pluscht staff called them asking, "The system is designed to make it difficult for artists to press deactivate — how did this happen?"

The account was ultimately unrecoverable. Photos and posts Wonyi had previously uploaded remain visible, but the author is now listed as "deactivated member." Rather than deleting the old posts, the group opted to add a new account, bringing the five-member group's total Pluscht accounts to six.

The members reassured fans during the live broadcast, noting that Wonyi can still post photos and updates through Bubble and Instagram and can also share content through other members' accounts. For fan letters sent via Pluscht, the members said they would turn their screens to show Wonyi the messages.

"Please don't hold back thinking she won't be able to see them — send as many as you can," the members told fans.
