Jungnang-gu will run the "Seoul Family School Pre-Wedding Couples Class" for engaged couples at Seoil University on Sept. 12 and Sept. 19.
The "Seoul Family School Pre-Wedding Couples Class" is an education program designed to help couples preparing for marriage better understand each other and develop healthy communication and conflict-resolution skills. Any couple living in the Seoul metropolitan area who is planning to marry is welcome to participate.
The program runs over two sessions and covers topics directly relevant to married life and wedding preparation, including couples' asset management, understanding each other's differences, and the meaning of marriage and a wedding preparation checklist.
Couples who complete both sessions will receive a certificate of completion and be offered personalized financial counseling, helping them review their financial plans together before marriage and prepare for a realistic life as a couple.
Couples wishing to participate should check the application details on the Jungnang-gu Family Center website and submit a pre-registration through Google Forms. Those selected must then complete the final registration process on the same website.
For further details, visit the Jungnang-gu Family Center website or contact the center by phone.
"Marriage is a new beginning for two different people to build a life together, so it is important to take time before the wedding to understand each other and communicate fully," said Jungnang-gu District Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi. "I hope this pre-wedding couples class helps couples preparing for marriage understand each other better and lay the groundwork for a stable and happy life together."
