Singer Lee Hyori is set to share her personal experience of living with her husband before marriage.
Tuesday's episode of JTBC's "Yeonae Jeonjaeng," a relationship counseling show, features a couple struggling with the boyfriend's obsessive behavior.
The boyfriend's controlling tendencies extend even to his girlfriend's nail salon clientele, demanding she turn away male customers. When he cannot reach her, he leaves 150 missed calls and hundreds of text messages in succession.
As the boyfriend's need to constantly track his girlfriend's whereabouts — even while living together — plays out on screen, panelist Seo Jang-hoon says "obsession is a disease." Lee is equally blunt, advising that he "should see a doctor, for his own sake."
Drawing on her own experience, Lee offers the couple candid advice. She reveals that she "lived with Sang-soon for about two years before we got married," then lays out practical solutions for the conflicts the couple face from their round-the-clock cohabitation.
How far the boyfriend's obsession will go — and what Lee's solution will be — will be revealed in the full broadcast of "Yeonae Jeonjaeng."
