Inje-gun in Gangwon Province has ranked first in the country in water supply customer satisfaction.

The county's water and sewage service office scored 86.17 points in the "2025 Local Public Enterprise Management Evaluation Customer Satisfaction Survey," claiming the top spot nationwide in the water supply category, Inje-gun said Tuesday.

The score surpassed the national average of 82.90 points across 122 water supply service providers by 3.27 points, the highest in the country.

The water and sewage service office said it will not rest on the result, pledging to continue strengthening stable water supply, prompt handling of complaints and user-centered administrative services so that residents can feel a tangible improvement in water service.

The survey was conducted under Article 78, Paragraph 2 of the Local Public Enterprises Act to assess customer service levels at local public enterprises. The Local Public Enterprise Evaluation Institute commissioned a professional research firm to carry out the survey across 389 institutions subject to local public enterprise management evaluation, running from June to October 2025.

The evaluation covered five areas: service environment, including convenience, comfort and safety; service process, covering accessibility, responsiveness and speed; service outcomes, encompassing benefit, adequacy and reliability; social satisfaction, including public interest, fairness and sustainability; and overall satisfaction.
