Golf shoe brand FJ (FootJoy) is set to release the 2026 Quantum, a new golf shoe designed to deliver an even higher level of comfort on the course.
The FJ Quantum has built its reputation on soft, plush cushioning that offers differentiated comfort throughout a round. The 2026 model preserves that core identity while adding a more secure fit that wraps the foot and improved traction to handle the varied movements of walking and swinging.
The 2026 Quantum features a fit design that accounts for the natural movement of the foot, allowing it to settle comfortably inside the shoe through repeated cycles of walking and swinging. A newly introduced molded TruFit system wraps the instep and tongue to conform to the shape of the foot, reducing unnecessary movement inside the shoe.
The shoe also debuts a WaveTrax outsole engineered to meet the demands of both walking and swinging. WaveTrax is a multidirectional outsole with traction patterns running both horizontally and vertically, designed to control the rotational forces and lateral movement generated during a swing.
Across a variety of surfaces, the outsole minimizes foot twisting and grips the ground firmly during a swing for more balanced movement, while adapting smoothly to changing terrain on the fairway for a more comfortable stride.
The new FJ Quantum will launch Thursday in three men's styles and three women's styles.
