Jungnang-gu conducted an emergency mobilization drill for civil servants as part of the 2026 Ulchi CPX, a national exercise designed to test readiness for emergency situations.
When the emergency mobilization order was issued at 6 a.m. Tuesday, all 1,422 district employees — including District Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi — reported for duty within their designated time limits. Essential personnel were required to respond within one hour of the order, while general staff had a two-hour window.
This year's Ulchi CPX runs from Tuesday through Friday, Aug. 21, spanning four days.
"The drill allowed us to assess our emergency response readiness by simulating a real crisis scenario," Ryu said. "We will continue to prepare thoroughly so that we can respond swiftly to a wide range of emergencies and protect the lives and safety of our residents."
