Psychiatrist Oh Eun-young has drawn attention after appearing noticeably slimmer, with many curious about how she lost the weight.
On Aug. 4, a video titled "These members in one place? A celebrity party with Ko So-young (Lee Jung-jae, Jang Dong-gun, Kang Dong-won, Lee Min-ho)" was posted on Ko So-young's YouTube channel.
Ko greeted Oh warmly when the two met that day. The pair had previously worked together on MBN's variety program "Oh Eun-young Stay," which aired last year.
Noticing Oh's slimmer figure, Ko exclaimed, "You're so thin!" Oh replied, "I am, aren't I." A subtitle then appeared on screen reading, "I cut out fruit."
Oh had been sharing updates on her diet through her own YouTube channel since last year.
She had previously confessed that she used to be slim but gained weight after opening her clinic. "I was so busy after opening the clinic, and patients would come until the early hours of the morning," she said. "When I got home, I would binge-eat fruit instead of a proper meal, and that's how I put on weight."
She added that she had significantly cut back on fruit. "I reduced my fruit intake a lot. And then the weight started coming off," she said. She revealed she had lost 21 kilograms after giving up the late-night fruit habit.
Oh also opened up about the stress she experienced from appearance-related comments in the past.
She said she was hurt by remarks made while appearing on KBS 2TV's "Immortal Songs," including "Doctor, please lose some weight" and "Your face looks big on camera."
