Kim Ki-su, 52, a former comedian turned beauty creator, is drawing attention online for his dramatically transformed appearance.

Kim recently posted a series of photos on his social media accounts.

In the photos, Kim showed off a polished look befitting a beauty creator — a neat hairstyle, groomed eyebrows, a well-toned complexion, a sharp jawline and defined features that rival those of a K-pop idol. He also displayed a toned physique in form-fitting short-sleeve knitwear and a sleeveless T-shirt, looking far younger than his 52 years.

Alongside the photos, Kim shared candid thoughts with his followers. "My emotions are on break. Don't come near me unless you're going to be warm. I'm on guard," he wrote in one post. In another, he reflected on his daily routine: "More than two hours of studying, one hour of exercise, 10 hours of work. That seems like a decent day… if only the money would follow." He also wrote, "You cannot expect people to understand you without expressing yourself."

Reports have been circulating on online communities and social media that Kim runs a one-person hair salon in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, under the name "Su-ssaem," a nickname meaning "Teacher Su." He reportedly offers not only hair services but also personal color consultations and makeup consulting.

Kim debuted as a comedian in 2001 through KBS's 16th open recruitment class and gained wide popularity through his character "Dancer Kim" in "Bongsunga Hakdang," a popular segment of the sketch comedy show "Gag Concert." He largely stepped back from broadcasting in the 2010s and gradually expanded into beauty content creation. After completing a professional course at a beauty hagwon in 2024, he obtained a hairdresser's license and has been preparing to work as a hair designer.
