The Gimcheon Agricultural Technology Center announced Friday that it had honored top-performing growers at a grape quality competition, naming a "Grape King" and other award winners.
Yoo Seung-cheol took the top honor of Grape King, while Hong Hyeon-tae claimed the gold prize.
Kim Yeong-wan and Im Seung-hyeon received silver prizes, and Woo Hyeon-deok, Jang In-ho and An Yeong-bok each earned bronze.
Jeon Jae-gang and Park Gu-sik received special awards in the new variety category for submitting outstanding new grape cultivars.
"We will continue working to supply consumers with superior grapes through high-quality cultivation technology and promising new varieties," said Lee Sang-myeong, director of the Gimcheon Agricultural Technology Center.
