South Korea's National Security Office on Wednesday expressed concern over North Korea's continued ballistic missile launches, calling on Pyongyang to stop immediately. "We are concerned about North Korea's continued ballistic missile launches following Thursday's firing," the office said. "North Korea's ballistic missile launches are a provocative act that violates UN Security Council resolutions, and we urge their immediate cessation."

The office convened an emergency security review meeting with the Ministry of National Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and other relevant agencies after North Korea fired a ballistic missile from the Wonsan area into the Donghae on Wednesday.

At the meeting, the office reviewed South Korea's response posture, analyzed and assessed the impact of the launch on national security, and issued instructions on necessary measures.
