Jazz duo DOMi & JD Beck, who collaborated with BTS member RM, are finally coming to Korea.

According to MPMG and Mint Paper, DOMi & JD Beck will hold a solo concert, "WHO ASKED? Seoul Tour," at Gonggam Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, on Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.

The duo — French keyboardist DOMi and Texas-born drummer JD Beck — burst onto the global stage in 2022 with their debut album "NOT TiGHT," released through the storied jazz label Blue Note Records. The record featured an array of legendary artists including Herbie Hancock, Mac DeMarco and Anderson .Paak, and earned the pair two nominations at the 65th Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist, cementing their reputation as a singular force in contemporary music.

The duo also contributed to RM's second solo album "Right Place, Wrong Person," released in 2024, performing on track 5, "? (Interlude)." Their contribution brought intricate rhythmic shifts and sophisticated harmonic ideas that pushed beyond the boundaries of conventional music.

The duo handles complex time signatures and advanced harmony with the ease of a children's song. On their second studio album "WHO ASKED?" — released four years after their debut — they drove every track through precise notation and orchestration rather than improvisation. The record features extensive collaborations with classical musicians as well as vocal tracks performed by the duo themselves.
