Samsung SDS will supply its AI collaboration solution Brity Works to nine government ministries, supporting their adoption of generative AI and AI transformation across public administration.

Samsung SDS announced Thursday that nine ministries — including the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Ministry of Employment and Labor, Financial Services Commission and the Overseas Koreans Agency — have confirmed they will adopt Brity Works. The Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Planning and Budget had signed on in April. All participating ministries are scheduled to begin using the service on a rolling basis through August.

The Ministry of Interior and Safety had earlier announced plans to expand its generative AI-based intelligent work management platform, OnAI, to more than 40 central administrative agencies by the second half of this year. Samsung SDS is supporting the government's AI administrative innovation drive through Brity Works amid that broader push.

Brity Works integrates a range of collaboration features — including AI-powered search, knowledge management, document drafting assistance, messaging, video conferencing and file sharing — to embed generative AI into daily workflows and facilitate cross-ministry collaboration. The platform also offers mobile-based functions such as real-time reporting, approvals, video conference access and AI-generated meeting summaries.

Civil servants can use the AI search function to quickly locate information from large volumes of administrative data and process follow-up tasks using automatically compiled meeting minutes. The platform also allows staff to continue working while on business trips or off-site without returning to the office, improving both continuity and efficiency.

The solution is also designed to underpin public-sector AI transformation with a top-tier security environment. Brity Works runs on a public-private partnership cloud infrastructure built on Samsung SDS's security technology and certified at the highest security rating — "sang" (top grade) — by the National Intelligence Service. This allows central ministries and public institutions to use generative AI in a secure setting.

Samsung SDS plans to continue enhancing Brity Works in line with the government's expanding AI work environment, with the goal of developing it into a government-wide AI collaboration tool that raises civil servants' productivity and the quality of public services.

"Brity Works is now being used as the official collaboration tool across a total of nine central ministries," said Song Hae-gu, head of Samsung SDS's solution business division. "We will strengthen integration with OnAI's mobile service so that civil servants can work conveniently and securely from anywhere, and we will continue to support AI transformation in the public sector."
