Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has been named the top CEO by employees in Glassdoor's annual ranking.

The US job-search site released its "Top 50 CEOs of 2026" list Wednesday local time, announcing that Huang had claimed the top spot with a 99% employee approval rating.

In anonymous reviews posted on Glassdoor, Nvidia employees described Huang as "a dynamic and authentic leader," "a true visionary leader" and "a rock star."

Nine executives from the IT sector made the list. ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott came in at No. 13, Bloomberg CEO Vlad Kliatchko at No. 35, and Apple CEO Tim Cook at No. 37. Cook's inclusion was notable given that he has announced plans to retire this fall.

Jason Johnson of franchise car-wash chain Quick Quack Car Wash and Kevin Lobo of medical device maker Stryker each earned a 93% employee approval rating, placing them just behind Huang.

The survey covered US companies with at least 1,000 employees that received a minimum of 75 verified ratings between May last year and May this year. Glassdoor noted that overall employee ratings of senior management fell below 3.5 out of 5 this year — the lowest since 2017.

Glassdoor President Owen Humphries praised the honorees, saying the 50 CEOs "show that decisive, trustworthy leadership is still possible today, even as the workforce faces some of its most difficult challenges."

Nvidia also ranked third on Glassdoor's "Best Places to Work" list, trailing only Kroo Car Wash and In-N-Out Burger — well ahead of other tech industry names such as Google (No. 11), Micron (No. 59) and Apple (No. 77).
