BTS member V has revealed he has been dealing with a hearing impairment for two and a half years, disclosing the condition during the group's ongoing North America tour. Fellow member Jungkook also opened up about performing through shin inflammation and a near-stress fracture.

The two spoke with fans via a Weverse Live session after their Baltimore concert on Tuesday (local time).

V said he had never previously shared the issue with fans. "I haven't told ARMY about this before, but my hearing has not been good for the past two and a half years," he said.

He added that his right ear functions at only about 30 percent of the capacity of his left. "I have been consistently taking medication and receiving treatment," he said.

Jungkook was equally candid about his physical condition. "My shin is in a state just before a stress fracture," he said, adding that pain had prevented him from running freely on stage. "Today I wanted to run around on stage with everything I had, but the pain stopped me at times." He said his shin has sustained minor bone damage and significant inflammation, but vowed to manage his body carefully and complete the remaining tour dates.

BTS is currently working through the North America leg of their world tour "Arirang." Upcoming dates include shows at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Aug. 15 and 16, followed by performances at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Canada, on Aug. 22 and 23.
