AceBed announced Wednesday that it has provided 150 million won ($106,000) in bed purchase support to about 110 households displaced by wildfires in North Gyeongsang Province.

The company has been subsidizing bed purchases since July 2025 to ease the financial burden on residents who lost their homes and livelihoods in the fires. Restoring a habitable living environment is one of the key challenges for displaced residents, and the costs of furnishing even basic necessities can mount significantly for those living in temporary prefabricated housing over an extended period.

The campaign covers residents in five wildfire-affected areas of North Gyeongsang Province: Andong, Yeongdeok, Cheongsong, Uiseong and Yeongyang. Eligible residents can receive up to 500,000 won toward a mattress purchase, or up to 900,000 won when buying a mattress and frame set together. The benefit applies equally regardless of product rating.

AceBed dealers in the Daegu and North Gyeongsang region are also participating voluntarily. Locations include the Ace Avenue Daegu store, Ace Square outlets in Gyeongju, Gumi, Pohang, Songhyeon and Daegu Taejeon, and AceBed stores in Gimcheon, Gyeongsan, Sangju and Andong.

The company has established specific eligibility criteria to ensure benefits reach actual wildfire victims. Applicants must submit a fire damage certificate. The support has also been applied retroactively to affected residents who purchased products between April and June of last year, before the campaign launched.

Nearly a year and a half after the wildfires, recovery work is still ongoing in the affected areas, and many displaced residents continue to live in temporary prefabricated housing. AceBed plans to extend the campaign through December to support residents as they rebuild their lives.

"We will continue to provide attentive support throughout the remainder of the campaign so that more residents can reclaim a comfortable place to sleep," a company official said.

AceBed has maintained broader social contribution activities in disaster-affected communities. When the North Gyeongsang wildfires broke out in March 2025, the company donated 500 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association through its social contribution foundation, Ace Gyeongam. It has also contributed a cumulative 1.5 billion won to improve working conditions for firefighters. The company previously donated a total of 600 million won to support recovery from the 2019 Goseong wildfire in Gangwon Province and the 2022 East Coast wildfires.
