Police are investigating an online post claiming that explosives have been planted at correctional facilities.

According to Yonhap and the Ansan Sangnok Police Station in Gyeonggi Province, a post appeared on an online community forum at around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday reading: "I have planted explosives at three correctional facilities. I will detonate them at 1 p.m. Thursday."

Police notified the targeted facilities, each of which conducted its own inspection, but no explosives or other suspicious items have been found so far.

Police are tracking the unidentified author of the post.
