The Ansan city government announced Wednesday it is recruiting 14 appointed members for the 5th Ansan Youth Policy Committee.
The Ansan Youth Policy Committee is a participatory body that deliberates on and coordinates the city's annual youth policy implementation plans, including their establishment and revision, annual evaluations of those plans and other key matters related to youth policy.
Eligible candidates include Ansan residents or those whose primary lifestyle base — such as a workplace or school — is in the city. The city is looking for young people with extensive experience in youth organizations, individuals with specialized knowledge and experience in youth policy, heads and staff of youth facilities, and others whose participation would support youth policy initiatives.
Recruitment will proceed through two tracks: open recruitment and nomination-based recruitment. The open track targets people between the ages of 19 and 39, while the nomination track is open to anyone with an interest in and expertise in youth policy, regardless of age.
Appointed members will serve two-year terms and may be reappointed once.
