Silicon2 disclosed Wednesday that its second-quarter consolidated operating profit rose 59 percent from a year earlier to 82.97 billion won ($58.6 million).

Revenue for the same period climbed 51.8 percent to 402.6 billion won.

Net profit for the period came to 72.33 billion won, up 103.2 percent, according to preliminary figures.
