Lotte Department Store's Daegu location will open Dim Sum Guys, the first authentic Hong Kong-style dim sum restaurant in the Daegu area, on its 10th-floor dining level on Saturday.

Dim Sum Guys is a new brand from chef Jeong Ho-gyun, who built his reputation running Le Jieu and Signature Lab in Seoul's Seorae Village and through various television appearances.

The restaurant reinterprets Hong Kong's vibrant food culture through a modern lens, offering traditional dim sum alongside noodle and rice dishes.

Signature items include classic dim sum such as xiaolongbao, shumai and har gow, as well as wonton noodle soup and bulgogi stir-fried noodles.

"More and more customers are visiting our dining floor not just for a meal but to seek out new flavors and culinary experiences," said Yoo Hyeon-gwon, store manager of Lotte Department Store Daegu. "We will continue to introduce differentiated dining content that reflects the diverse tastes of local customers, strengthening the competitiveness of our restaurant floor."
