Spanish premium tuna brand Calvo [CJ CheilJedang]

CJ CheilJedang announced Wednesday it will bring Calvo, Spain's top-selling tuna brand, to the South Korean market.

Calvo is a Spanish canned seafood brand with more than 80 years of history that currently exports to 66 countries. Wednesday marks its official debut in South Korea through CJ CheilJedang.

The brand launches with two products: an olive oil tuna made with 100 percent Spanish olive oil and a sunflower oil tuna made with 100 percent European sunflower oil.

"We will continue to strengthen our protein portfolio with differentiated products and lead a delicious and healthy food culture," a CJ CheilJedang official said.
