Korea Ocean Business Corp. is partnering with young employees at Busan-based organizations to pursue organizational culture reform and explore ways to foster mutual regional development.

Korea Ocean Business Corp. announced Tuesday that it has launched a youth exchange and cooperation network called "Springboard" together with Korea Housing Finance Corporation, Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Korea Southern Power, Busan Metropolitan City and Busan Bank, and has begun full-scale activities.

Springboard is a non-standing cooperative body that first launched last year to give young employees in the Busan region a forum to freely share ideas and build a culture of mutual growth. This year, the Busan city government and Busan Bank joined the network, expanding it into a public-private-civic partnership spanning public institutions, a local government and a private-sector company.

The network has also significantly broadened its scope this year, moving beyond its original focus on improving internal organizational culture. Members will now share best practices in institutional innovation and regional development, and use open discussion to identify practical ideas for mutual growth.

Korea Ocean Business Corp. plans to strengthen cooperation with young employees from participating organizations through "Haerang," the fifth-term Youth Board of Directors — an internal communications body that channels frontline employees' ideas to senior management. Through this collaboration, the corporation aims to achieve concrete results in three areas: fostering a more flexible organizational culture, driving AI-based business process innovation, and developing strategies for community co-prosperity.
